Read off the firm’s own terms and, where one exists, the company register of the country named. A prop firm holds no financial licence, so there is no regulator to check these against — which is the reason to know the names rather than a reason not to publish them. How to check this yourself.

The split here is what a newly funded trader is paid, not the best number the firm advertises — on four of the eight in this directory those are different numbers. Why the headline is usually a ceiling.
What we checked on Alpha Capital Group
17 Sept 2026A real British company, filed at Companies House as an IT services business, selling trading evaluations. Three fields on this page were wrong and every one of them made the firm look easier than it is: there is a minimum number of trading days, there is a consistency rule, and the split is 80.
What the filing says it does
Alpha Capital Group Limited is company 13719951 in England and Wales, incorporated on 2 November 2021, registered office at 1 Allied Business Centre, Coldharbour Lane, Harpenden, AL5 4UT, and its accounts are made up to 31 March 1. So far, so ordinary — and more than most of this list offers, because a British company number is searchable by anybody, its officers are named, and its accounts are due on a schedule somebody else enforces.
The interesting line is the classification. The company is filed under SIC 62090, "other information technology service activities" 1. Not financial services, not fund management, not investment activities. That is not an accusation of anything: selling access to a simulated trading platform genuinely is an IT service, and choosing a financial SIC code would arguably be the misleading choice. It is worth a reader knowing because it is the clearest statement anywhere of what the company believes it is, and it is filed with the state rather than written in marketing.
The group also runs ACG Markets, a brokerage licensed in the Seychelles since late 2023. That is a separate company doing a regulated thing, and it is not the company selling the evaluation. A reader who sees "regulated" attached to the Alpha Capital name should know which half of the group it attaches to, which is the same point this site makes about brokers on every page.
Three rules we had wrong
Our record said the firm required no minimum trading days, and the page said so in its one-line summary: "no minimum trading days — a fast pass is possible". The firm’s own rules require a minimum of three trading days in each phase, on every programme except Alpha One, which requires one 2. The claim was not a small overstatement; it was the headline, and it was describing a rule that does not exist.
Second, the consistency rule. We recorded none. Alpha Capital applies a best-day rule: no single trading day may account for more than 40% of the total profit generated 2. That is among the tighter versions in this directory — Topstep’s equivalent sits at 55% — and it is exactly the rule that catches a trader who passes on one good session, which is how a lot of people pass.
Third, the split. 80%, not the 90 we published 2. Three errors, one direction. That is the thing worth noticing: mistakes in a record are not random, because a record seeded from a firm’s own promotional pages inherits the shape of promotion.

- The accounts filed to 31 March 2025 were not read for this note — only the company record. Somebody should pull them: turnover and reserves would say more about whether this firm can pay a good month than any rule on the page.
- The relationship between Alpha Capital Group Limited and ACG Markets Ltd is described on the firm’s site and not in any filing we read. Which company holds a funded trader’s agreement is not settled here.

Full rankingAlpha Capital Group — common questions
How does Alpha Capital Group measure drawdown?
Alpha Capital Group uses static drawdown: the 8% limit is fixed against your starting balance and does not move as your equity rises.
Does Alpha Capital Group have a consistency rule?
Yes. Alpha Capital Group caps how much of your total profit a single day may contribute, so one outsized day can disqualify an otherwise passing account.
What does an Alpha Capital Group challenge cost?
Normalised to a $100k account, $599. Alpha Capital Group prices several account sizes; comparing per $100k is the only way to compare firms directly.
Is Alpha Capital Group regulated?
No, and no prop firm is. Alpha Capital Group sells access to a simulated account rather than a financial service, which is outside what financial regulators license. That is why the company behind it, and the country it is registered in, is the whole of what a trader could ever act on.
Which company would I be contracting with at Alpha Capital Group?
Alpha Capital Group Limited, registered in the United Kingdom. It is the company whose terms you accept when you buy the challenge.
What profit split does Alpha Capital Group actually pay?
80% to a newly funded trader, which is not always the number a prop firm leads with — four of the eight firms ranked here advertise a higher share that is the top of a range, or in one case a paid upgrade. The figure on this page is what you start on.
Have these Alpha Capital Group figures been checked?
Not at the source. Alpha Capital Group’s own pages refuse our requests, so the rules and costs above were not read where they are published — only where others have quoted them. That is scored openly as the evidence component rather than left as a footnote, and it is a fact about our reading rather than about the firm.
